Self-Awareness

One of the benefits that I want to hone in on is seeing things from the other person's perspective and practicing self-control. When you're able to moccasin, step into the other person's shoes, you lead by understanding.

As a self-aware leader, you will understand that the things you say, the way you respond, and the actions that you take all have implications. It will impact how your staff receives information and what they do with it. I told my team, you can almost tell me anything. There is no limit to what you can share with me; there is a way that you share it.

When you're self-aware, you understand how your tone, inflection, and choice of words influence others.
