As a founding principal of an elementary school, she quickly realized that her expertise in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom culture wouldn't suffice in her new role. She desired to understand how to grow and stabilize an organization. She learned that success started with her leadership development and business acumen.
Through her experiences, she discovered which leadership skills are necessary to retain talent, achieve goals, and create a dynamic staff culture. While strategically planning to grow her school, she leveraged SWOT analysis', A3's, stakeholder communication plans, and other project management tools. Now, Kiesha desires to help other leaders unleash their potential when they lead strategically and with understanding.

Kiesha’s Bio
Kiesha's passion for educating and developing others extends well beyond her knowledge of educational disparities and leadership gaps. She understands the influence that individual leaders can have on their teams, in any business, if they're adequately coached and trained.
As the Founding Principal of an Elementary School, she made impactful strides during her tenure by managing three expansion projects, doubling the student population, and training educators and administrators to advance student achievement. Kiesha has been a leader in various education sectors for more than a decade: nonprofit, charter, choice, and higher education.
She supports various leaders in Wisconsin by coaching MBA EL students and co-chairing the Alumni Board of City Year Milwaukee. She continues to focus on growing and developing transformational leaders who drastically impact the lives of the students and employees they serve. Her work with Partnership MKE-United Way has helped develop leaders that are courageous and desire to understand biases that plague our community.
Kiesha graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare. Later, she received a Masters in Urban Education from Cardinal Stritch University. She also completed the National Principal Fellowship Program in New York through Relay Graduate School of Education. She graduated from MSOE with a Masters in Business Administration in Education Leadership. She is a doctoral student, Doctorate in Business Administration at Concordia University Chicago. Kiesha feels that developing others to reach their highest potential is one of the most humbling and fulfilling services she can provide.
